Miguel Quintana, Ms. Sc. is the founder and creator of Mindfulnets and MindFocus web, and responsible for the research project about online mindfulness to reduce stress. He is specialised in MBSR and mindfulness, having received his training from the University of Massachusetts (Center for Mindfulness).
He received the international research award in the area of Clinical Meditation from the Transcultural Society of Clinical Meditation Society, founded by Doctor Yutaka Haruki. He developed his career as a researcher during 4 years at Tsukuba University (Japan) and hold a Masters degree in Health promotion from the same University. He is currently Ph. D. candidate at Complutense University of Madrid (Spain).
As an entrepreneur he received the award for Technology Based Company from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2007 and the award for Best Company of Recent Creation 2009 SMEs from the journal Emprendedores.
He is the leader of a multidiscipline, motivated and talented group, made of young professionals with experience and highly specialised in body-mind medicine, health promotion, mindfulness-based intervention and software engineering.
Oswaldo Rivera is a junior researcher in the psycho-technological area applied to sport and health. Darran Kilbride as a mindfulness specialist, has refined the style of the english texts. Gustavo Diex has participated as a Yoga expert in co-creation of contents. Esther Alcalá is a sociolinguist, responsible for 2.0 communication. Jimmy Collazos has participated as an analyst and web programmer. Adolfo Redaño has participated in the designs and look and feel.
